The Korean technology giant has a new vision for its Galaxy S family. Samsung is said to be working on something that is codenamed ‘Project Zero’, for its new flagship devices for next season.
Samsung, as you may be aware, announces a new Galaxy S smartphone in the first quarter, and the device usually goes on sale in the second quarter, the summer. However, it seems the company has had to rethink this strategy due to low sales of the Galaxy S family in the last few years.
Going by tradition, the next Samsung flagship might be unveiled during Mobile World Congress (MWC), meaning the Galaxy S6 could be presented in either late February.
Or early March.
However, we usually get the first rumors on what the company is preparing by this time.
This time around, though there are hints that don’t actually provide us any idea on what the company has in mind for the Galaxy S6. Instead, sources claim that the next big thing from Samsung goes by the name of ‘Project Zero’.
Probably the internal codename of the Galaxy S6, be one guess.
What it entails, though, is not currently known. We do know that Samsung’s profits have bene dropping each quarter these past two years, and part of that is due to the less than expected sales of two of its flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S and the Galaxy Note.
More details on this are expected to be out very soon, so keep it locked here.
